Day One Hundred Twelve - 11:51 : Heaven just ain't high enough

Okay, so I made this really long post about how everything is going, and in the process of checking out some bicycles online.. my web browser crashed. So now you get the joy of the reader's digest version of the previous post! :)

Week 14 saw another 2.5 pound loss with the total jumping over the elusive 120 mark to 122.7.

Week 15, this past week, was great. Even the addition of more meat (6oz/day opposed to 4oz/day), milk (1 serving/day), and more fruit and veggies didn't stop me. A whopper of a week, with a 8 pound even loss!! That puts the total at 130.2, within spitting distance of what used to be my overall goal (135). The overall goal that I never thought I could achieve, even more than the 135, is now realistic.

Life has.. changed completely. I just can't emphasize that enough. I feel good about myself, good about my abilities, and just better in general than I've felt in a long, long time.

One example of this is this past weekend. I visited my old man, and found my brother's bicycle in the garage. Apparently it was having some issues with it's gears, so I rode it around the backyard and had a BLAST. So I grabbed my old bicycle out of storage and dropped a bit of coin on a new rear rim, tires, tubes, and grips. It rides great, Saturday night I had a blast riding around on a minimum maintenance road.

Unfortunately, it's too short for me. Oh well, I'm saving up for a nice new Gary Fisher bike, so this is a pretty good excuse to get one. (ATTN RICH PEOPLE: I'll take one in the "XL" or 21in size, pls). Heh :).

Beyond that, things are going well. I'm glad that I made this life change, and am really excited to see how far it goes. Thanks for all the support, it's appreciated :)
