Well hot damn

I'm not sure what makes a morning better. Either, getting on your Surly in the rain, and realizing even though it's raining and crappy, it feels absolutely perfect for the ~7 mile ride to work. Or the fact that even without a rain cover, the more comfortable North Face pack is still more waterproof than the heavier and less comfortable Cannondale backpack was.

Or or or! Getting to work and realizing that in your sleepy daze at 6am you had packed a pair of khakis that were pretty tight around the legs when you put 'em on earlier this year, so you start cussing. Then you figure "aww, what the hell", and try 'em on. AND THEN you realize they not only fit, but they fit great.

Finally, you walk back to your office, then realize in 8-ish hours you get to ride home on this:

Life, they say is good. VERY good.
